I think that absence does make the heart grow fonder. Why? Because when you are away, and you are enjoying yourself / going through a rough time, you want the person to be there with you…and knowing that they can’t be there, it makes you long for them more…

The saying goes that “absence makes the heart grow fonder”, but it seems that for me it just makes it go crazier.
Unfortunately it also seems to make the brain grow duller.
It’s not that bad. Besides, seeing too much of a person makes you…. well, bored.

No really, I have never been one to believe it. I am more likely to say that “absence makes the heart grow forgetful”.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder for the first 3-6 months.. After that it’s total oblivion.
