Car Crash !

October 9, 2006

Work & Car I always thought that my first car accident would be lethal, something I’d be traumatized from.. I imagined blood and broken bones.. I know I have a vile imagination.. I never thought it would happen while waiting at a traffic light on my way home from work yesterday..

Worse yet the reason why I had such graphic thoughts was emerged from the continuous nagging of my family, infesting the idea of me crashing one day due to my speeding issue..

My car is somewhat fine

I have no scars

bruises

not a single scratch on my body.. il7ilmidilla

but,

I feel bad for the sad Bentely logoastard that crashed into me ;P

7aram he was very nice, half blind and ma6yoor… but a very nice man..

I sound like the old lady in the early 90′s British AAA ad “he’s a very nice man, a very very nice man, a very very very nice man”

    Glad you came out of the accident all in one piece. Be careful when you drive here in Kuwait, it is like going on an adventure every time you go out.

    thanx for your concern.. my baby is ok.. she got hit in the back.. his wide front bumper smashed into the back of her and I got a dent and it’s all scratched up.. :( will need to get her fixed and all prettied up..

    First of all, thank goodness you are ok!!!!

    Secondly…I am curious:

    Why was he speeding? (Following you, watching something else instead of the car in front of him, preggie lady in his front seat that was giving birth, in his half blind state he started mixing up colors [red = GO!])…did he at least have an excuse?

    You know, I have given up hope on expecting policemen to show up at accidents during Ramadan, especially around fitoor time…which leads me to thinking…I wonder if theives / muggers / car jackers etc know that the best time to do their dirty work is fitoor time, because all the cops are at home eating?

    Caff:
    firstly, thanx darling.
    secondly, at first I was thinking he was speeding off for fu6oor.. then realized he had an hour and a half to get home.. so unless he lived in Jahra or somewhere further would he be in such a rush.. then I realized he was on the phone.. I recall faintly.. my memory is somewhat distorted from the rush and thrill of the moment.. I guess also, he might of figured both lanes on the right and left were moving promptly while our lane was at a hault..
    hehhe the preggy woman comment made me wonder :P
    he didn’t have an excuse.. he kept apologizing repeatedly and said he’s done this before !!
    as for the police.. it took them bloody 45 to come.. mind you their station was practically across the street.. and the investigator that was to sign the insurance papers was asleeeeeeeep !! huft !! the order in this country !!
    I always wanted to rob a bank.. hmmm :    P
